My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit outdated and had a lingering smell of smoke, which led to them taking my $100 deposit for no reason. However, the room was fairly clean overall, except for some minor details like hair in the bathroom and dust behind the microwave. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional with staff going out of their way to accommodate my needs, including being close to an exit on the first floor for my pets. The location was convenient for my plans in Birch Run and Frankenmuth, being close to the festival and outlet mall. On the downside, the noise level made it hard to rest well, and the breakfast options were lacking, with limited healthy choices. The free baked chocolate cakes were a nice touch, but parking for guests was a challenge as employees were using some of the spaces.
